We'd love to have you join our team of volunteers who are committed to helping our animals find a loving home!
We have different types of volunteer opportunities available.
Animal Transports
We are always in need of animal lovers with vehicles to transport animals. We always need help every other week on our transport days to pick up dogs arriving in NJ and bring them to their foster home. If you have a vehicle and some free time, please get in touch!
Fundraising
We do not have much fundraising help, and could use the knowledge and expertise of those of you with experience in the field. If you are able to help us write grants, organize fundraising events, or solicit donations from larger businesses or corporations, we would love to hear from you.
Animal Posting
We post all of our animals on sites like Facebook, Instagram, and more, but we need help posting on other sites and you local neighborhood app. We get a lot of adopters from these sites, but don't have a lot of time to post the animals ourselves. With your help, we could get a lot more animals adopted much faster! It would take you mere minutes, and you would contribute directly to helping save lives from your couch!
Application Processing
We receive an average of twenty-five adoption applications a week, and we need reliable, detail-oriented volunteers to help us process these applications. This task involves checking vet and personal references and coordinating with our lead volunteers to keep the list of approved adopters up to date. It only requires a few minutes of your time, and can be done remotely!
Photography
Have a passion for photography and a love for dogs? We need you! Our animals often come from high-kill shelters with a lack of good quality photos to make sure they get adopted quickly. Your work will be posted across all our social media platforms and websites to ensure every animal gets the best chance at getting adopted.
